Fresh role, or a crouton?

Paste a posting. FreshRoles has watched that careers site around the clock for months and knows how long the role has really been open, how many times it was reposted as “new”, and whether roles like it ever fill.

Works for the companies whose removal detection we can vouch for. Anything else gets an honest “we can’t tell”.

The open roles we have watched taken down and put back up as “new” most often, at companies whose removals we can verify. An always-on requisition is often legitimate; this is what we observed, not a judgement. Open one to see its timeline.

Read this as an always-on requisition, not a vacancy that opened last week. The posting you are looking at is 105 days old; the seat behind it is at least 278days old. Each repost reset the “posted” date on the careers site, which is why it looks fresh.

A real seat at Salesforce, picked automatically: a common role that keeps being reposted. It changes as the board moves.

How we know

FreshRoles records every posting it sees on a company’s careers site and every removal it can confirm. When a role is taken down and put back up under a new ID, we link the two. A “stale” role is one whose seat has been open for 60 days or more across its postings. We only score companies whose removal detection we can demonstrate, so a number here is the employer’s behaviour, not our blind spot.
